In April of 2009, Cedarapids®, Simplicity®, Canica® and Jaques® were brought together to form a comprehensive crushing and screening product line called Terex® Minerals Processing Systems.

Canica Celebrates 50 Years of IMPACT in 2024!
In 1974, Canica began as a family-owned business redesigning and rebuilding other VSI Crushers. In 1975, the first VSI Crusher by Canica was introduced. In 1995, Jaques of Australia purchased Canica forming Canica-Jaques. Then in 2001, Terex® acquired Canica-Jaques bringing the brand back to the Canica® name once again. Over the years, Canica has provided a comprehensive range of Vertical Shaft Impactors to customers around the world.
Cedarapids Celebrates 100 years in 2023
In 1923, Cedarapids Inc. was founded in Cedarapids, IA with the idea to revolutionize the road-building industry with the first truly portable aggregate plant. Over the years the company’s portfolio has grown and revolutionized the Crushing & Screening Industry while remaining true to it’s roots as a leader in portable plant equipment.
